The Spaniards choose large cities to bid farewell to the year, according to Skycanner, indicating that London, Paris, Tenerife, New York, Barcelona and Madrid are favorite places for welcome to 2012.
In a note, the travel portal highlights that London is the most sought-after destination for live new year’s Eve and new year, as it confirms the flight search in Skycanner.es for the week of December 26 to January 1.
The second is Paris, ‘the city of love’, fetish of luxury and the ‘glamour’, followed by the Canary Island of Tenerife, New York and the Spanish cities of Barcelona and Madrid, in 5th and 6th, respectively.
Other European cities have also been a high level of searches, thus occupying places featured in the ranking of favorite cities to spend the new year Berlin (7th), Rome (9th) and Amsterdam (10th).
Spanish destinations of Gran Canaria (8th), Lanzarote (13 °) and Seville (20 °) also found a hole in the list of most popular places in Skycanner.
