Teruel, Lovely City

Teruel is a small but enchanting Aragonese city with an important Moorish artistic heritage, part of which has been recognized by Unesco as world heritage.

Located next to the confluence of the Guadalaviar and Alfambra rivers, Teruel is a perfect city to spend a few days and relax. The province has been a pioneer in the development of rural tourism of interior and is relatively easy and affordable to rent a magnificent restored House of the so-called “boutique”.

Teruel does not offer the amount of services or tourist attractions in major cities, however there is much to do and to discover in this city.

Its tourist attractions include its Mudejar buildings, the mausoleum of the lovers of Teruel, El Torico and paleontological Center Dinópolis.

The most outstanding Mudejar monuments are the Church of Santa María, Cathedral of the Diocese of Teruel and the towers of El Salvador, San Martín and San Pedro, at whose feet is the Church that receives the same name, also of Mudejar art.

Gastronomically Teruel stands out as having a major denomination of origin of meat products, especially ham that is of remarkable quality.
