If you are traveling to Australia you can enjoy (or rather, experience) one night in a mine that has been set as a hotel. Considering the events that occurred in mines in recent years, give me a little scared. But surely the adventurous and those who do not suffer from claustrophobia, enjoy it!
The mine is located in Coober Pedy, a town whose sole attraction is an old opal mine. The same has been converted into a quaint inn.
But for the locals this is not so strange, since many besides working in the mines also live in caves. Why? Temperatures in the caves are cooler in summer and pleasant in winter.
In the area we visited the mines, underground and even the same museum we stay underground.
