1st day in Tokyo
The Tsukiji fish market
Start by visiting the fish market in Tokyo. This market is the hub of gastronomy Tokyoite! Warning, this colorful place wins, it is advisable to get there before 7:00, at which time the market in full swing. Wear clothes and shoes that are not afraid to get wet.
Ginza
Tsukiji, go to Ginza, which is south of Central Station. Ginza, the temple of luxury and consumption. Visit the Takashimaya department store (2-4-1 Nihombashi, Chuo-ku), open from 10am to 19:30. The architecture is splendid.
Sumos Fight
An original evening: a sumo match at Ryogoku Kokugikan (1-3-28 Yokoami, Sumida-ku). Only in January, May and September.
2nd day in Tokyo
The gardens of the Imperial Palace (Higashi Gyoen)
Stroll in the garden of the Imperial Palace East, part of the imperial park open to the public. Higashi Gyoen is a 21 hectare park which houses the remains of the old Edo Castle. You will see the Imperial Palace, formerly Edo Castle, surrounded by moats of origin. Beautiful doors and old guard towers punctuate the walls.
Shibuya
To get an idea of the new fashions in Japan, stroll in the Shibuya district, a mecca of trendy youth Tokyoite. A laboratory trends: not to be missed!
Omotesando Street
Shibuya, go to Omotesando. If Hermes, Dior or Vuitton you miss, you’ll find them there … down the avenue, watching the windows and admire the architecture of the buildings: it is superb!
The National Arts Centre
The largest exhibition space in Japan, this center houses rotating collections. Learn about the exhibitions in progress.
Day 3 in Tokyo
Ueno Park and the Tokyo National Museum
Ueno Park is the largest park in Tokyo (64 hectares!). It is in the typical and popular Ueno. You will find inside the park a multitude of museums, including the superb National Museum of Tokyo to see!
Odaiba
Then have a look at Obaida, an artificial island built in Tokyo Bay. Huge leisure complex, theme parks, marine park, malls always busy.
4th day in Tokyo
Tokyo Tower
A red and white tower of 333 meters, which closely resembles the Eiffel Tower: A view of Tokyo’s worth a visit.
Roppongi Hill
You can not go to Tokyo without visiting Roppongi Hills. It is a complex of buildings sharp architecture that includes cultural centers, arts and business: a city within a city … Take the elevator to the top floor of the Mori Tower, where are located the Mori Art Museum and a panoramic terrace which offers spectacular views of Tokyo.
Roppongi
Spend your evening in Roppongi. You’ll find very cool little bars, restaurants, nightclubs.
